Matt Kenseth won the pole for the Pure Michigan 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway with speed of 197.488mph. Hamlin is on the outside pole followed Edwards. Joe Gibbs Racing achieving their first ever 1-2-3.

The June 2015 Pole Winner was Kasey Kahne at 201.992mph he eventually finished 15th

Danica Patrick qualified in 23rd at 192.771 mph with a time of 37.350 seconds.
