Kurt Busch won the Coors Light pole for the 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway with speed of 177.599mph. Edwards is on the outside pole followed by Truex Jr The August 2014 Pole Winner was Kyle Larson, 183.438mph and he eventually finished 11th. This time around he qualified in 15th.

Danica Qualified in 22nd place with a lap of 51.478 seconds at a speed of 174.832 mph.
