AJ Allmendinger won the Sonoma pole for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 Sprint Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway with speed of 96.310mph, 74.385 seconds. This was his 1st pole of 2015, his very first pole at Sonoma and the 3rd of his career. Kurt Busch is on the outside pole. The June 2014 Pole Winner was Jamie McMurray, 96.350mph who eventually finished 4th.

Danica had a strong run in practice but eventually qualified in 21st position. 95.366 Mph 75.121 seconds.
